The husband has been on a mission for decades to find a Detroit deep pan pizza that matches one he had in the 80’s, he has finally found it with Jacks Pizza.
Personally I was a little apprehensive as I’m not keen on deep pan, but Jacks pizzas are amazing, with a light and fluffy base, delicious parmesan crunchy crust and very tasty toppings.
We were lucky enough to meet Jack himself, a really nice guy who has clearly done extensive research and adapts to continuously strive to improve his pizzas, not that he needs to.
We will definitely be a regular customer.- Food

You can really tell that the food is fresh and made in house, from the light dough, the marinara base to the sauces (l absolutely love the ranch).
I’ve tried the Classic and the Margarita and couldn’t get enough, even as a vegetarian I couldn’t resist a slice of my friend’s Pep Ranch when I last went! Will be back again soon!- Service

The pizzas are outrageous! Before finding this place I had never heard of Detroit style pizza, but this pizza is nothing like I’ve ever had before and I am CONVERTED!! I would eat it every day if I could! The deep sourdough base is delicious and the toppings are SO flavoursome! My new favourite pizza place. TAKE ALL MY MONEY 🤤!!!

Insanely good Pizza. I’ve tried a few Detroit styles but this one tops them all. The dough is light and the toppings have been perfected! I’m not one to write reviews but I had to jump on here to let the people know! I’ll be returning.

Have eaten Jack’s pizza a few times now, and it’s always been brilliant. Quality ingredients, well put together with great flavour combinations. Highly recommend, will be back for more soon.

This was such a find! Food was sooo good, can’t wait to go again! We shared one between two of us and it was plenty. Highly recommend! The pub has a large outside area, benches with and without cover in case of rain.

I got the hot honey pep pizza which was delicious. The dough was so light and airy, not doughy or heavy. There were loads of toppings and all the ingredients used were fresh. Would highly reccomend!! Best pizza in Brighton/Hove by far

The hot honey pepperoni for me with a side of garlic and herb dip, and the margherita for my partner with ranch dip. What can i say, with takeaways I usually get a tinge of regret, over the cost or its not as good as I hoped. Not this time tho! It was fabulous, my partner isnt even into pizza with a thick crust but he really enjoyed it. Next time I will get several sides of the marinara sauce to just eat with a spoon :D thank you Jacks pizza, that was everything I needed and better than i expected!- Service

We visited Jacks Pizzas today at The Brunswick and it was absolutely delicious. Fantastic quality pizzas and the best choice of toppings. Can highly recommend the Buffalo Chicken and Hot Honey Pep. Thanks so much Jack, we’ll be back 👍🏻

Been to The Brunswick 4 times now for Jacks Pizza and it gets better every time. Best Pizza in Brighton and Hove for sure. Pep Ranch and Hot Honey Pep are elite. Really good pub as well with lots of different options for drinks and friendly staff with great service. Highly recommend trying this place out!

Yummmm! Absolutely loved Jacks Pizza. The dough was light, fluffy and the Parmesan crust made it crunchy too. The Honey Ranch is a MUST order. I also loved the focaccia with house marinara dip. Will be visiting again very soon

The distinguishing characteristic is the excellent dough, which is beautifully pliable and has the right amount of chew. Some pizza made this way is extremely heavy and bloating - not so with Jack's.
Toppings are also very good. Do give this place a try - especially if you have a puregym membership (15% off) or with a friend for their beer deals (a pizza and two pints for 20 quid).
I have tried their margherita, buffalo chicken, and beef + jalapeno. All are top notch.- Price per person
